Pham, Phi Long (2007) Reform of state and state-owned enterprises in Vietnam : the case of transport infrastructure. PhD thesis, ENPC p.381.
Abstract
Since 1986, the Economic Reform in Vietnam has been showing the dynamism of vietnamiese actors in many economic fields. Our thesis suggests that other resources should be mobilized in order to improve the quality and the efficiency of organizations in Vietnam. The study therefore concerns the process of organizational transformation.
Our study focuses on actors in the field of transport infrastructure construction. The analysis reveals the lack of laws and coordinating mechanisms. It also shows the weakness in cooperation and coordination between the actors/organizations (enterprises, project direction, work teams) and between individuals/employees of the organizations. In this situation, we are interested in the organizational factors in the reform of state administration and SOEs in Vietnam.
