Abstract
In this work we present a new approximate model for the computation of temperature, heat flux, displacements and stresses in thick laminates. The so called CDL model, is based upon Lagrange polynomial dicretization through layer thickness, which allows to satisfy the heat flux continuity, and normal stresses at each interface, even if athermal resistance occurs at each interface. For particular geometries, we have compared this model both with exact solution, and classical models used in finite element programmes. We demonstrate the efficacy of the model on two and three dimensionnal problemes in heat conduction, in elasticity and in thermoelasticity, for thick laminates.
